What AI can actually help with

Six ordinary jobs, done faster.

Not strategy decks or futurism. The repetitive parts of running a service business, where an hour saved every week is worth having.

Customer replies

Draft clear, friendly responses to enquiries, complaints and repeat questions — in your own tone, not a robot's.

Quotes and follow-ups

Turn a messy job description into a structured quote checklist, then keep follow-ups from falling through the cracks.

Admin and documents

Summarise long PDFs, pull the actions out of an email chain, and tidy up notes into something usable.

Marketing and content

Write posts, listings and newsletters that sound like a local business, not a press release.

Internal knowledge and SOPs

Capture how your business actually works so new staff can find answers without asking you twice.

Simple workflow automation

Connect a few small steps — intake, triage, draft, reminder — so the repetitive part runs mostly on its own.

Free mini-course

Eight modules. Nothing to pay.

Short, plain-English lessons with a clear outcome each. Tick them off as you go.

FAQ

Fair questions.

Do I need to be technical?
No. There is no coding and no jargon. If you can use email and a web browser, you can follow along. Bring a laptop to the workshop and we will work on your own tasks.
Is my business data safe in these tools?
Be careful. Do not paste customer personal details, health information, financial records, identity documents or anything confidential into public AI tools. Use de-identified examples, check your obligations under the Australian Privacy Principles, and read the settings of any tool you use. We cover safer habits in the course and workshop.
Will AI replace my staff?
That is not the promise here, and we would not make it. The realistic result is that some repetitive drafting, summarising and admin takes less time. A person still reviews and owns the output.
What results should I expect?
Time saved on specific repetitive tasks. We do not guarantee revenue outcomes, and anyone who does should be treated with suspicion.
Do I need a paid AI subscription?
Not to start. The free tiers are enough for the mini-course. If a paid plan is genuinely worth it for your situation, we will say so and explain why.
Where is the workshop held?
In Hobart. Venue and dates are confirmed with registered attendees by email once numbers are set.
I am outside Hobart — can I still take part?
The mini-course is open to anyone. Register your interest and note your suburb or region; we are planning sessions elsewhere in Tasmania based on demand.
